About Me

I am the mother of two young adults and a dog mom to three labradors: Tucker, Daisy and Luna. On the weekends, I like to spend my free-time outdoors: hiking, biking and skiing. And what better place to do that than western Colorado, where I relocated to in 2019 from Pennsylvania. I currently live and work in Montrose, Colorado.

I received my masters degree from Virginia Commonwealth University and my bachelor of science degree from Virginia Tech. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and have been in practice for over 20 years. I am licensed to practice psychotherapy in Colorado, Pennsylvania and North Carolina.

When I was beginning my career as an outpatient therapist, I spent ten years working for universities in Virginia and Pennsylvania doing counseling and drug and alcohol education and prevention. I then went on to work at Geisinger Medical Center, a large teaching hospital in Central Pennsylvania. There, I did almost everything an LCSW could do, from working as an outpatient therapist to running groups on the inpatient psychiatric unit and a variety of outpatient groups.

Since relocating to Montrose, I have worked for Cedar Point Health as an outpatient therapist, and am now expanding my private practice to include ketamine assisted therapy. I am certified in Psychedelic Assisted Therapy from the Integrated Psychiatry Institute (IPI) in Niwot, Colorado. I have also done additional training in MDMA assisted therapy through the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS). As the licensing becomes available in Colorado, I plan to apply for a clinical psychedelic license. Currently, for those interested in psychedelic assisted therapy, I can provide preparation, integration and some coaching services. Please reach out to me for more information.
